Paul Lenga was born in
England, and he completed his law studies at the London College of Law.
Paul moved to
Israel in 1983 and he was admitted to the Bar in
Israel in 1984.
Paul is a member of the Israeli Bar, a member of the Law Society of England and a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and
Paul is a partner in the firm. His main practice is in Corporate and Commercial Law. He specializes in the fields of Project Financing and Infrastructure (BOT) Projects, Banking and Finance, Telecommunications & Television, Mergers and Acquisitions and International transactions. He has extensive experience in large-scale financing transactions in the Banking sector in
Israel as well as loan facilities abroad. He has also handled some of the largest Infrastructure (BOT) projects in
Israel, as well as a number of high profile international transactions.
In the 2010 edition of "The Best – Lawyers", published by the leading Israeli publication "Maariv", Paul was ranked one of the top 10 lawyers in
Israel in the Project Finance and Infrastructure category.
Paul joined the firm from the law office of Gornitzky & Co, and he previously worked in the International legal department at
Israel's largest bank, Bank Hapoalim and in the law office of Shraga Biran & Co.
In the 1990's, Paul was a member of the Knesset Committee on the reform of the Guarantees Law.
Paul serves in various public positions, including as a member of the Board of the Israel Britain Chamber of Commerce, a Director of the Confederation House Cultural Centre and a Vice President of the World Confederation of United Zionists.
Paul is fluent in English and Hebrew and is conversant in French.
